I was born to an American father and a Japanese mother in Tokushima prefecture, locatedĀ on the northeast side of the island of Shikoku, southern Japan. After I was born, I moved to Tokyo, Japan for eleven years, Singapore for five years, and San Francisco, California for two years. I am currently residing in Eugene, Oregon for my undergraduate studies in Advertising, Business Administration, and Digital Arts at the University of Oregon.
I have always considered myself creative. My artistic nature stemmed from my desire to entertain myself as an only child. I would create imaginative friends and circumstances and write stories about them. I took my camera everywhere with me to later play around with on Adobe Photoshop. Being an only child was a blessing in disguise for it was being alone that enabled me to focus on my art and creativity.
In the future, I would like to become a creative director. I am always challenging myself to learn new skills and techniques to become a better designer. I love being creative and want to surround myself with those who have the same passion to create. I lose time when I design and I am happy to have found a career path that I love.
